It helps you react to danger - but it can also be triggered by unhelpful thoughts, like “I’m not good enough” or “I can’t cope.” When this happens, your body responds as if you're in danger, even if you're not. Over time, this can lead to anxiety and depression, keeping you stuck in survival mode. This is where Counselling, especially Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), can help. CBT is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you identify and challenge these unhelpful thoughts and replace them with more balanced and constructive ones. As your thinking changes, your emotions and behaviours start to shift too, helping you feel more in control, less overwhelmed, and better able to cope. Counselling helps by teaching you how to spot and change these unhelpful thoughts. As your thinking shifts, the fight or flight response settles, and your anxiety reduces. Contact your Insurance provider for limits on claims. All claims will need to be processed through the provider's website. A receipt will be provided for this purpose.
